The Sebewaing Township Library Board of Trustee's Meeting is on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 @ 4:00 p.m. in the Community Room.

This meeting will be to amend the budget for the 2023-2024 Fiscal Year and to approve the Budget for the 2024-2025 Fiscal Year.

The Sebewaing Township Library Adult Book Discussion Group will meet to discuss the book, "When the Stars go Dark" by Paula McLain.

The Sebewaing Township Library invites you to join the 2024 Summer Reading Program. Bring a friend and participate in activities, movies, and contests to win prizes.

Help us build a CommUNITY mural this summer! When signing up for the Reading Program, you will be given a circle. You can use a few colors, add texture, colorblock, or mix up your friendship design. Remember to bring the circle back to the library and watch our mural grow.

Banned Books Week was launched in 1982 in response to a sudden surge in the number of challenges to books in libraries, bookstores, and schools. Typically (but not always) held during the last week of September, the annual event highlights the value of free and open access to information and brings together the entire book community — librarians, educators, authors, publishers, booksellers, and readers of all types — in shared support of the freedom to seek and to express ideas.
